Registration
How can I start using AiCogni?
You can start using AiCogni without registration. Just hit the LOGIN button and the account linked to your Google acc will be created. You will be able to use all the features, including in-game purchases. However, you won’t be able to transfer your purchases (credits) to another device. Also, please note that registration provides significantly more free credits and requires only E-mail.
How do I register in AiCogni?
To register for the program, you need to enter your email address as your login, set a password (minimum 6 characters), and click “Create.” Then, go to your specified email inbox and complete the registration by clicking on the link in the email you received. After that, you can use your login and password to access AiCogni on any device where it is installed.
Why does the program write that this email is already in use?
You may have entered an incorrect email address, or someone else has already registered this email address. In any case, if you are certain that the specified email address belongs to you, use the “Forgot password” function to recover your password.
I forgot my password, what should I do?
Click on the “Forgot my password” button. In your email, follow the link and set a new password (minimum 6 characters).
Are there any additional data required to use the program?
No, AiCogni does not collect or require any personal data other than your email address.
Can I use my account on my friends' devices?
Yes, you can use your account on any device where AiCogni is installed. However, please note that activating the premium version is tied to a Google account.
Chat Window
So, as a chat bot AiCogni can only generate text answers?
AiCogni is mostly a chatbot, thus its main priority is to provide text answers. However, the text can be structurized more conveniently if needed. Just ask for a TABLE presentation of data, for example – “make a table of 5 comedies with the country and year of release, main actors and short synopsis”. AiCogni can also provide clickable links for internet resources or highlight coding syntax.
How to save the chat/message?
Use the “Share Chat” or “Share screenshot” options in the chat menu located in the upper left corner to send the entire chat or the current screenshot to friends or colleagues.
Are there any limitations on the length of the request?
In AiCogni, there is a technical limitation on the length of a single request. Currently, the limit is set to 2000 words. We recommend clearing the chat if you need to change the conversation context to save credits.
Why has the bot's response been cut off?
A too short response length was selected in the settings. To hear the continuation, say “Continue” or select “Continue” in the menu. You can increase the Response Length parameters in the Settings to avoid this.
The bot starts talking about its features or provides a mixture of facts and fiction. What is happening?
ChatGPT has limitations, especially in non-English languages. Responses are influenced by Mood, Creativity, and Bot specialization settings. A higher Creativity parameter leads to more imaginative (and potentially fictional) responses. Lower it for precise answers.
Settings
Can I use different languages?
Yes, you can use different languages, but it’s important to note that AiCogni performs best when using English.
What are Moods?
Moods are pre-set configurations for the bots, allowing for unique dialog experiences. For example, a "sarcastic" or "grumpy" mood will change how the AI interacts with you during extended conversations.
What does Reply Length affect?
Reply Length limits the maximum length of AiCogni’s response. Longer responses consume more credits. If your answer was cut off, you can always click “Continue”.
What does History Memory affect?
The higher the History Memory parameter, the more the application remembers your dialogue. This allows for better context but increases credit consumption as more data is processed per request.
What do the DIALOG section toggles do?
- Auto-Pronounce reply: AiCogni automatically speaks the response.
- Auto-send after recognition: Automatically sends your spoken text for processing.
- Auto-Listen after reply: Activates the microphone immediately after the AI finishes speaking.
- Auto-Listen on Start: Enters recording mode as soon as the app starts.
- Use Bluetooth Headset Mic: Uses your headset mic instead of the phone's mic.
Credits & Premium Access
Why do I need credits?
Interacting with ChatGPT involves a small financial compensation proportional to the volume of resources used. One credit is equivalent to one 4-5 letter word.
How can I get credits?
You can purchase credits in the app (bulk discounts available!) or earn them for free by watching advertisements.
Will I need credits if I purchase premium?
The premium package allows you to use your own API key, which does not require credits. However, if you don't use a key, you can still use the credit system.
What does premium access provide?
Primarily, it allows using your own API key and provides a convenient interface for ChatGPT on your phone and watch. It also gives access to advanced program features.
Bots
Why do I need bots?
Bots allow for deep customization. You can create multiple bots with different roles (e.g., a "Chemistry Teacher" vs a "Social Media Manager") and switch between them easily.
What are Roles and Styles?
A Role defines characteristics (e.g., an Interviewer or a Counselor), while Style adds personalization (e.g., metaphorical, poetic, or satirical).
Watches
Is it necessary to have the phone nearby?
Yes, the watch application is not standalone. Communication happens through the phone’s microphone/internet, so both devices need the app installed.
Can the watch play back responses?
Currently, the watch app works in conjunction with the phone, and audio is played through the phone’s speakers or Bluetooth headphones.
Why do I hear a message about no internet connection on the watch?
Check if AiCogni has permission to work in the background on your phone. Disable power-saving mode for the app to ensure it can process requests while the screen is locked.
